Dolly Villa drops out of the Race.

Not citing some of the obvious difficulties she faced in getting her name on the ballot, nor the harassment she faced prior to qualifying for the November ballot, Dolly Villa, in an exclusive e-mail to the Ox Jo said she will not pursue nor campaign for the Oxnard City Council.

The text of her message read: 

I Don't think I am going to run. I only got a couple of invites through the mail, not the ones you mentioned. I have a lot of stuff going on right now. good luck! dolly villa.>>

Historical Note:  In an effort to help Dolly and other Council Candidates: Mayoral contender Bill Winter e-mailed Council Candidates with some of the scheduled forums and debates he heard of.  Apparently, there were some forums and debates which Dolly was not invited to participate in.
